BRUCE 'CAMARA WIL GET A CHANCE'

Heni CamaraSteve Bruce said that Sengal striker Henri Camara will get the chance to shine for Latics.

After Tuesday's four-nil win over League 2 Notts County, Steve Bruce insisted that two-goal striker Henri Camara will get an opportunity at the JJB.
"He's come back and I've give him a chance, it's as simple as that" said Bruce.
"If he's here for a year, we'll see what he can offer - he's always scored a goal.
"I don't know what quite happened with Camara but he's here and we'll use him, you'd have to ask Alan Curbishley.
"He compliments my other strikers fantastically well - I have to say that.
"He gives me something different which I'm pleased about and he's an experience player at Premier League level."
Commenting on the 4-0 win over tonight's opponents, while it's good to boost the confidence levels, Bruce knows the team can't get carried away ahead of the trip to Hull.
"We've played well," Bruce continued.
"We've played well during pre-season, we played well in our first two games but didn't get anything from them so tonight's nice for confidence but I'm sure it'll be a different story at Hull on Saturday."
"I think I've got the makings of a decent team here and I think we've got little bit of strength in depth as well.  We've had five or six players missing tonight through one reason or another and we've still managed to make six changes."
The manager also revealed that the injury that prevented Chris Kirkland from making kick off against Chelsea on Sunday isn't a major concern.
"We don't think it's anything too serious.
"It's really a problem which he did in pre-season - it's related to that but we think he'll be ok for the trip to Hull."
Latics now return to Premier League action at Hull on Saturday at 3.00pm.  Full match commentary on Latics World.
