Top Ten Most Important Goals: YOU decide, we print
As part of the celebrations of 30 Years of league Football, LATICS LEAGUE LEGENDS is the column that lets YOU decide.
Thank you to the supporters who took part in our on-line TOP TEN STRIKERS vote, as published in the Chelsea match day programme. We had almost 2,000 entries - a staggering response!!
For the record this was the final list of strikers, as chosen by your good selves:
1. NATHAN ELLINGTON
2. EMILE HESKEY
3. ANDY LIDDELL
4. JASON ROBERTS
5. GRAEME JONES
6. LEE McCULLOCH
7. STUART BARLOW
8. DAVID LOWE
9. PETER HOUGHTON
10. BOBBY CAMPBELL
Strangely perhaps, no one voted for Pat Gavin!! But for the record, Number 11 on the list was Henri Camara?
Now it's time to do it all over again, for the Sunderland programme, on September 13.
We want you to vote for the TOP TEN MOST IMPORTANT GOALS over the last 30 years!! Not the best goals, that can be another vote, but the most important ones, in other words, those that you feel meant most to the club.
Here are our suggestions (but you may have some others), simply put them in order and give us a SHORT reason for your Number One choice
AND THE NOMINEES ARE?

May 8 1982 - Eamon O'Keefe v Mansfield Town: the first promotion
