KING RICHARD

Richard KingstonLatics net Ghana keeper Kingson
Wigan Athletic have confirmed the signature of Ghana's international keeper Richard Kingson.
The 30 year old was a free agent following his release from Birmingham City last season and was in Wigan this week to pass a medical and put pen to paper on a three year contract at the club.
Latics manager Steve Bruce says he is delighted to have secured his services.
"He's a really decent keeper, you don't play nearly 60 times for one of the top 20 nations in the world without having something about you and I think he'll add real competition to the squad here."
Kingson has played the majority of his career in Turkish football, before he joined up with Bruce at Birmingham last year.
He appeared in the 2006 World Cup in Germany for his nation as well as excelling in this year's Africa Cup of Nations.
He said: "Like any player, I just want to play. It's terrific to be back in England. Steve Bruce is a great manager and I'm looking forward to my career at Wigan.
"I know there are two good goalkeepers here already and all I can do is fight for my place and see where that takes me."
